Care tip: rinse the rock occasionally to clear dust and soot, and inspect it each season for cracking before topping up or replacing.

TL Was pleased to finish our elementi fire bowl with river rock. It looked great. Followed the instructions for placement and first burn. Was surprised to see black scorch marks on all the rocks close to the flame. I did not expect this. For aesthetics go the black rocks to avoid this problem.
